try not to cry too hard, but i won't be in the studio for next weeks' show. the show will be in good hands with dj mojo (of spoonful fame) at the sound board and i'll be back from vacation just in time for next big nashville. i hope lots of you can make it out - TONS of nashville bands will be there and plenty of fun will be had by all. if you're planning on seeing 3 shows during the 5 day festival i'd recommend a pass for the whole thing. it comes out cheaper that way.

i just realized that the next nashville mixtapes may very well be the last nashville mixtapes for a while. wrvu releases its fall broadcast schedule the following week and since i'm just a measly community volunteer dj, i'm not guaranteed airtime. so i'll try extra hard to put on a solid 2 hour show this week and then cross my fingers. i have no reason to believe i WON'T get a time slot this fall, but you never know.

no matter what happens, don't forget to stop by left can dance at the end on friday, aug 29 to see your favorite wrvu dj's spin records all night long. the $5 cover helps support the station. yeah, wrvu's a part of vanderbilt, but believe it or not they can always use the community support.
