yes yes y'all. i've put together my favorite old skool hip hop and rap into one simple dowloadable zip file for your next house party or whatever. some of it's cheezy and some of it's raw, but all of it proves without a shadow of a doubt that i am the whitest guy i've ever known. mad props to summer mix series for linking to this compilation:

mixed up

on a personal note, i gave up cigarettes today. i only attempted this monumental feat one time back in 2001. it lasted a half-hearted month, but cigarettes have long been my wubby / blanky and i happily gave into temptation after the first batch of nicotine inhalers ran out.

even though i actually want to quit this time, it feels like i'm ending a long marriage because i love my wife too much. a wife who wants to kill me every day. i should be excited, but i'm pretty sad about all this to be honest.

so, wish me luck and here's a brief mix dedicated to those pesky smokes i've loved so much and the jones i already have for them (click on the tape):

well, the waiting game has begun prematurely. this saturday was supposed to be my big-blowout-last-training-show show, but for reasons beyond my control i won't be there.

...i'll give you a minute to get over that horrible empty feeling...

so while i hold my breath in anticipation for the final training exam results and show schedules, i'll post some mixtapes here over the next couple weeks.
