show #63 playlist

as mentioned before, the show has now moved to saturdays at noon for the fall semester. the audio archive should be back up next week once the ever-vigilant wrvu online staff make all the necessary adjustments. the station now boasts 93 shows, so bear with them.

here's what you may or may not have missed last saturday:

the botticellis - awaiting on you all
george harrison - what is life
doves - 10:03
autolux - subzero fun
stardeath and white dwarfs - age of the freak
the flaming lips - silver trembling hands
cryptacize - tail & mane
radiohead - these are my twisted words
the xx - blood red moon
edward sharpe & the magnetic zeroes - desert song
the stone roses - shoot you down
the xx - crystalised
thee oh sees - ship (thee hounds of foggy notion version)
the blues magoos - sometimes i think about

the xx are the new "it" band, so you'll probably hear more about them soon. xx (their debut album) is already out in europe and will be released here on 10.6. they'll tour the u.s. to promote the album, but the closest they come to nashville is atl on 11.17.
